  17.   Almost, but you still need to tweak the M2 a bit. I wish that AT didn't just
  18. trash the Amiga chipset and would at least go out an try to actively sell its
  19. special features to one of these other chip makers if they can't do a new
  20. chipset themselves. They should get in on this Cirrus/M2 deal. An
  21. M2 with higher- res modes and a few other modes, Amiga copper, and at least
  22. quad 8/16/24 playfields with transparency and an 8bit register mode if it
  23. doesn't already have it, added in plus PPC plus AmigaOS4 would be awesome. And
  24. it would be a real Amiga. Remarkably so in fact, considering that it would be
  25. a combo of Jay Miner's (Father of the Amiga) copper and some other 2D effects
  26. with RJ Mical/Needle:3D0's (original Amiga design team members) 3D and other
  27. M2 special stuff and an update of the OS that ended up being choosen to run on
  28. the Amiga.
  29.    And, yes, I think that Fabio would love such a machine as well (ah,perhaps
  30. not the CPU, but considering everything else, I imagine it would be more than
  31. enough to please him).

  33.  But if AT just goes out and lets any old mish-mash of crap of any old SVGA
  34. you want no matter how featureless be combined with PPC plus AmigsOS then
  35. forget it, I'm gone, I'll never buy an "Amiga" from AT, ever.
